Per Diem Driver
  Reports to: Pharmacy Manager

Summary:

Responsible for delivery of medications, supplies and set-up of equipment at the patient’s residence and may be requires to educate the patient and/or caregiver on the safe use and maintenance of the delivered equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Delivers medications, supplies and sets up equipment as required at the delivery address
• Educates the patient and/or caregiver on the safe use and maintenance of the delivered equipment as required
• Completes all necessary delivery forms and paperwork including invoices, and logs
• Develops and maintains working knowledge of current products and services offered by the company and all applicable governmental regulations
• Reports equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required
• Ensures understanding of equipment by providing clear instructions
• Adheres to and implements all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to all Clinical Programs including HIPPA
• Works on-call evenings and weekends on an as scheduled basis
• Performs other tasks and special projects as requested by management

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to travel and handle changes in work assignments
• Knowledge of Microsoft office required

Education/Licenses/Certificates required:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company standards.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

• Minimum travel may be required
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk and use hands to finger, handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand and reach with hands and arms. The employees must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
