AMERITA, INC. OPENS NEW SPECIALTY INFUSION PHARMACY IN EL PASO

New location focuses on nutrition support market in Greater El Paso area.

Irvine, California, March 20, 2007 – Amerita, Inc. announced the opening of a new specialty infusion pharmacy at 7338 Remcon Circle, Suite 300 in El Paso, Texas. According to the company, the new location is a full-service infusion pharmacy that provides complex pharmaceutical products and clinical services to patients outside of the hospital in alternate settings such as the home or an ambulatory infusion suite. This new site will service greater El Paso, Las Cruces, western Texas and southern New Mexico.

The new Amerita location provides patients with specialty infusion therapy services that primarily require intravenous administration of medications to treat a wide range of acute and chronic health conditions, including infectious diseases, auto-immune disorders, cancer, pain, multiple sclerosis and hemophilia. Additionally, the Amerita location features a high-tech pharmacy that exceeds USP797 standards and a multi-disciplinary nutrition support team that includes a dietitian to treat patients with nutritional deficiencies.
