Amerita recruits Sherri McKaig to build company as employer of choice

Irvine, California, May 24, 2007 – Amerita, Inc. announced Sherri McKaig has been named Vice President of Human Resources. According to the company, McKaig will be responsible for building Amerita’s human resources department and aligning its strategies with the business objectives of the national specialty infusion healthcare company. Her responsibilities include staffing and retention, employee relations, leadership development and executive coaching.

McKaig is an accomplished human resources professional with 18 years of experience in all facets of human resources management. From 1991 to 2007, McKaig was responsible for a broad range of human resource functions at Scantron Corporation in Irvine, California, a $130 million division that provides software and services to educational and commercial markets. During her tenure at Scantron, McKaig served as manager of human resources, director of human resources and vice president of human resources. McKaig holds a bachelor of science in psychology and human development from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
