AMERITA, INC. OPENS SPECIALTY INFUSION PHARMACY
IN COLORADO SPRINGS
New Amerita location is first specialty infusion
pharmacy in Colorado Springs and marks the company’s
initial facility in the Western U.S.
Irvine, California, August 8, 2007 – Amerita, Inc. announced today that
it has opened a new specialty infusion pharmacy located at 2270 Garden of the
Gods Road, Suite 102, Colorado Springs, CO 80907. According to the company,
the new Amerita pharmacy is the company’s first location in Colorado
and addresses the need for convenient, locally based specialty infusion services
for patients in the Colorado Springs area.
“As a resident of Colorado Springs since 1981 and a healthcare professional,
I saw a need for a local, high quality, customer-focused infusion company that
could provide a service level not possible from out-of-town companies,” said
Lynda Van Dyke, Amerita’s General Manager. “Amerita gave me the
opportunity to build that company in Colorado Springs with three simple directives:

The new Amerita location provides specialty infusion therapy services that
primarily involve the intravenous administration of medications that treat
a wide range of acute and chronic health conditions such as infections, auto-immune
illnesses, cancer, pain, multiple sclerosis, hemophilia and nutritional deficiencies.
The new pharmacy meets or exceeds the new quality standards for compounding
pharmacies and is USP 797 compliant.
“We saw Colorado Springs as an underserved market early in our planning
process and our ability to recruit a person with Lynda’s reputation and
experience made the decision to invest in this opportunity an easy one,” said
